AHILYA MURKUNDE


Ahilya is a recent graduate of University College London (UCL) where she studied BSc Chemistry. Her interests range from soul, funk and jazz to indie and alternative music. Starting with classical Indian singing, Ahilya’s musical experiences have predominantly been during her undergraduate degree as a performer. As part of UCL Musical Theatre Society, Ahilya performed in RENT as the character Joanne and also directed a production of Little Shop of Horrors which was performed in Bloomsbury Studio. As well as being an active member, Ahilya directed UCL Live Music Society’s annual flagship show Rhapsody 2021, in which she arranged a fifth of the musical numbers. Ahilya is currently undertaking a Postgraduate degree in MSc Marketing Communications at the University of Westminster, after which she wishes to pursue a career in Marketing within the music industry.
